BIJF Iftar Mahfil -a gathering of media people of tech-sector
A meeting of the participants of the country's technology sector was held on Saturday evening at Aylanto Buffet in Gulshan. Organized by BIJF, a national organization of media workers in the technology sector. A significant number of members were present. With the spontaneous presence of academicians, business leaders, public relations organizations, representatives of commercial organizations and well-wishers the venue became lively since afternoon.
At the beginning of the conversation, Abdullah H. Kafi, the lifetime chairman of the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASSOCIO), the largest information technology organization in the Asian-Oceanian region, discussed the relationship between technology and humanity and the scope of knowledge of the current generation. BASIS director Habibullah Niamul Karim, Mushfiqur Rahman, BFDA president Dr. Tanjiba Rahman, convenor of Amrai Digital Bangladesh Liaquat Hossain, Jasim Uddin Joy, CEO of Joy Computers, Professor Kazi Hasan Robin of World University and others joined the conversations.

The BIJF Iftar Mahfil turned soon into a gathering of technology leaders before evening. The E-CAB President Shomi Kaiser, Vice President Mohammad Sahab Uddin, BACCO President Wahid Sharif, General Secretary Touhid Hossain and others participated one by one.
Dell Country Manager Atiqur Rahman, Bangladesh Women Journalist Center President Nasimun Ara Haque Minu and Bangladesh Women and Technology Director Kaniz Fatema also spoke.
Along with Iftar, media workers and business leaders of this sector indulged in good stories. Apart from exchanging early Eid greetings with the members, the children who attended the picnic and missed the gifts were also handed over the gifts to their parents. Patrons' mementos were handed over.
BIJF President Nazneen Nahar and General Secretary Sabbin Hasan moderated the program. Vice President Bhuiyan Inam Lelin extended greetings.
